About us

Interserve is a global community of ordinary Christians putting faith into action.

We are doctors, teachers, baristas, accountants, carpenters, musicians, entrepreneurs, community development workers and more; using our skills to serve and to train others. We prioritise locally-led projects, serving among the most marginalised people of the Arab world and Asia.

We believe that local Christians who put their faith into action can make the greatest change in their communities. So wherever possible, we partner with them – serving together, mentoring, training and encouraging.

Together, we are involved in bringing tangible love to lives and communities, regardless of race, colour or creed.

We work as part of local organisations – often in partnership with the local church – so our work responds to local needs sensibly and sustainably.

We use our skills to meet needs in the short term and build capacity for the long term.

We are followers of Jesus, motivated by his love.
